SBF Story
What happens when three entrepreneurial Moroccans come to the United States and become successful? They dedicate themselves to giving something back to underprivileged children in Morocco and elsewhere in Africa.
Faouzi, Zine and Mohamed used their resources to purchase and ship 220 computers to Morocco. They formed the Sefrioui-Badissy Foundation and teamed with Microsoft North Africa’s Partners in Learning and others to put their plan into action.
SBF Today
We are a non-profit organization based on the belief that helping impoverished children in Africa to acquire knowledge and technology will allow them to compete in the 21st century, participate in the global market and contribute to economic growth.
Today, we are…
This requires the commitment of our community:
Setting up Computer Labs in public schools located in impoverished areas of Morocco and South Africa.
Training teachers and students to use these computers
Establishing a network of professionals to provide ongoing maintenance and support
Our management team coordinates and manages all efforts, raises funds and ships all computer equipment from the US to Africa
Our partners and sponsors provide critical support
SBF and the Future
Our long-term goals include promoting employment and business opportunities in Africa. We’ll do this by:
Supporting business efforts that utilize high school graduates’ IT education
Providing business training and microfinance services
Expanding our community-based computer labs to offer additional services for the community
